Is Hypoxi training suitable for me?

The Hypoxi machines has been designed to target stubborn fat in the hips, buttock and thigh region. While we find most clients lose centimetres from their stomach as well, the best results will be achieved in the lower body region. Most typically the Hypoxi machines work for women who are classified “pear shape” but will also work for other body types who need an overall reduction in their body fat.

The Hypoxi training program does require a commitment of both time and effort to undertake the recommended number of sessions per week and to follow the nutritional guidelines. You should discuss with us your diet and exercise patterns to ensure that you can maximise your training program.

We have clients of many different ages and fitness levels in our studios. Some of our most successful clients have been those whose injuries have prevented them from undertaking other forms of exercise or who are returing to an exercise program after illness, injury or childbirth.

Don't hesitate to discuss any concerns you have with us in regards to the program or come in for a free trial so that you feel comfortable that you will be able to undertake our training program.

Is Hypoxi dangerous?

No, the Hypoxi machines are completely safe. The machine monitors your pulse rate to ensure that your heart rate is always below your maximum fat burning heart rate. This is normally between 100 and 135 beats per minute, depending on your age and physical condition.

For safety reasons, there are certain contraindications which we require you to consider before commencing treatments. If you have any questions or doubts, you should consult your medical practitioner. Your health and safety is our paramount concern.

Is Hypoxi painful?

No, it is completely non-invasive and pain free. Particularly if you use the reclined machine, most clients comment that the horizontal position in which the treatment is administered takes pressure off the joints and lowers the client’s heart rate so that the experience is a less strenuous form of exercise.

Can I do Hypoxi training on an ongoing basis?

Yes, once you have completed your initial 12 sessions we have a number of maintenance options you can choose from. Many clients are happy to drop the number of sessions they complete each week back to one or two to keep the positive effects of the Hypoxi training working for them.

Is Hypervibe training suitable for me?

The Hypervibe machines are designed to increase strength and tone your muscles. The machine has a large range of vibration frequency (speed) making them suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels.

Some of the many benefits of Hypervibe training include increased muscle strength and power, increased metabolism, increased circulation, improvement of core stability, increased joint mobility, elimination of back pain, and strengthening of bone cells, making the training program suitable for people with many different fitness and wellness objectives.

However, tolerence of the vibration strength is very individual which is why we require you to undertake an initial consultation to assess the suitability of a Hypervibe program for you and tailor exercises that will meet your specific goals.

Some of the conditions that are not suitable for Hypervibe training include pregnancy, epilepsy, gallbladder or kidney stones, recent wounds or fractures, acute pain or inflammation.

We offer a free trial on the machine to ensure you are comfortable with its use and the program will be suitable to you.

Is Hypervibe training dangerous or painful?

It shouldn’t be but if use of the machine is not properly directed or supervised it can be, which is why we include an initial consultation and ongoing supervision in our package prices.

How often should I use the Hypervibe machine?

We recommend you undertake Hypervibe training three times a week. If you wish to combine it with your Hypoxi sessions for a heightened and overall body result, we suggest you do your Hypervibe training before your Hypoxi session.
